welding burns and fire

well, some slag finally landed on my hand, the one holding the gun and gave me a couple weird looking little burns and AT THE SAME TIME caught my shorts on fire......it was quite funny. It was the shorts i have with the huge hole in the thigh part. The freyed (spell?) edges caught fire and my first instinct was to rip off that part of my shorts.....haha :lol: but then i just patted out the small flames.

lesson learned, no holes in shorts and always where some gloves when under the weld.

Dang you're lucky it didn't burn you worse. What are you up to today? More work on your truck? I don't have my phone any more so.....maybe i'll just come over.
