I'll try to go, especially if I'll have passengers to split gas with me. ;)
Give me a date!

When? Anytime! (Ok, I do have something on the 13th, but that's it for May)
Where? As long as I don't get new tires for my bike, it narrows my choice where to go.

But more important, this month will be my last chance to take the Tracker out, so lets get something going! What about the Trucks?

Gas prices are an issue though ... still better than in Europe ;)

And about the heat, there's been rumors of people getting heat stroke already ... :D

i'm going up to glen helen on the 20th and probably check out the CORR race on the 21st. the weekend after that is gonna be memorial weekend, which will be crowded, so i'm for a night run then :D

I think the next time I can go to the desert would be after the 20th. Got projects and finals up the ass until then...

i looked at the calander a little more and it looks like i will only be able to go on the 27th --- 28th --------------- mothers day next weekend, corr races 20th----21st so it will be a busy month and i may not even be able to go on the 27th because i may need to do some chors around the house so im not to sure about going out this month but keep me posted

I'm going out for every weekend through the end of the month, so just let me know when.

For the record, I filled up today: $3.45 for regular. Might be an expensive weekend.

i know this is the weekend before finals but how does rideclub feel about helping out at the superstition night race on June 10th?

to hell with finals - as lons as I pass it doesn't really matter, right?! ;)
honestly, I think my finals should not be too bad and I would prefer to go and help out with the race on that weekend than to go earlier in May, I might even stay there for the night race and some wheeling on the day after it

That sounds good to me. I will hopefully not be doing summer school so my weekends will be free for the most part.

my truck should be drivable by the end of the month and maybe have lights and shit by the night race. All my degree stuff has to be done by the 9th in order for me to graduate so I am likely game to check it out.

it would be the MDR Superstition Series, THE COYOTE WASH 200 over at Plaster City West.

No better way to ring in the hot ass heat that is the summer desert than to start it out with a night race :D Anyways, we've got time. I dunno about you but it'd be pretty cool to have rideclub's name on one or two of the superstition (king of the desert race that i missed before would be sweet as well) races by providing volunteer or clean up services.

Just to give a little summary to the original post.

http://stehbrettsegeln.myftp.org/bilder/sandiego/thumb.php?img=Ride/May%20Ride%20-%20Ocotillo%20Badlands2.jpg

So there's been some nice dez riding on the 28/29-April-weekend, Sean enjoying his new old CR250, me trying to put more wear on what's already been worn out badly.

This weekend (13/14-May) there's been even more mayhem at Sean's Grandma's place:
Sa: Anna,Sean,Billy&Dad - going crazy dezert dashing (Billy: if you like some of that excellent footage on the web, here is some help available)

Su: Anna, Sean, Me, Jae (from Buymoto) & wife, Chris (from Buymoto) & dad Keith. So Jae(&wife) did his first laps around the dez, going really well - thinking of more in the future.
And some awesome huge rides with Chris & Keith. Great times.

My bike scored another 66 offroad miles on Sunday. Plus another 192 for riding in'n'out. Believe or not, the milage that I had was increadably better than on city commuting: 54 mpg (5.4l/100km)! So, if you want to save money, go dirtbiking :D :D :D

PS thanks to Sean&Anna&family to the great hospitality

Thorsten, are you going to bring out the tracker for the night race?

That means that I definitely have to pay the next rego, but I'm not gonna get around it, right?! One last bash up ... Hope that some of the trucks can make it.
