I remember you guys talkin about maybe starting up a fab company after finishing all your guys' trucks. After gettin all excited about my rear suspension design (even though it might not work) I was thinkin how tight it would be for it to actually happen. I also have a bicycle manual CVT design that I made up last summer. I want to make a test model for it but i couldnt because I didnt have the resourses to make it. Now that we have a welder and stuff i wanna try again (i should make a wood model first or soomething). Anyway Jesse I want you to look at this too. I would ask you other engineers but Jesse's the only one with a degree, I think...plus I dont trust you other guys with my top secret design! . Any way I think it could be a good business move if it works. truck fab or bike parts sound cool if I can help make it. Im pretty sure I hate sitting in a cubicle and If this is what engineers do their whole life I wanna start my own business makin stuff I think is cool.

If your serious about doing truck fabrication, you should get on the 'net and ask around about interning for a trophy truck repair team in the Baja 1000. The mechanics usually don't even get paid so you probably won't, but you'll have the experience working in a racing environment and seeing technology that is kept private. It will also give you a better perspective on what works and what doesn't, and when you work around highly qualified people they tend to share valuable information you wouldn't otherwise hear.

Time to get my secret camera glasses and call the patent office...I am gonna be rich!

Anyways, I very much forsee such a business venture in the next few years, if only as a means of employing all my friends  Prob never full time for me just because the resources I have now are absolutely necessary for any worthwhile suspension. And the best way to learn about trucks is to work on your own and make mistakes, though being shop bitch for a trophy truck team would be nice. Fortunately the off road scene is not exploding with new technology... not yet anyways
