Got it as a trade for my lame SXV project.
I'm leaning on selling it as a dirtbike and parting the supermoto stuff. What should I sell it for as a dirtbike? Racedesert + craigslist?
Fluidyne radiators
full exhaust
40 hours on it
Current red sticker

Dang that thing is sweet! So you have all the dirt stuff? Sumo stuff like the wheels and brakes sells fast on Craigslist.

Ya, I've got the dirt stuff too.
It's got all kinds of random aftermarket crap on it.
That's what I'm thinking, craigslist/ebay the supermoto stuff.
What do I sell it for as a dirtbike? 2500?
I just noticed that it needs fork seals. What's an inexpensive way to get those replaced?

For Sale is my Crf450r that I just plain don't use enough. I bought this bike with the intent of riding supermoto at our local kart track. That track is now closed and I never really rode this bike anyways. I converted it to Supermoto and there it sat,I enjoy riding the mini motards much more. Here's a list of what the bike has. +Universal triple clamps +GPR top mount steering damper +Pro Circuit header and exhaust +Kouba linkage (also have stock one) +Fluidyne radiators +Pro Taper oversize bars (Carminchael bend) +Acerbis race seat +IMS pegs +Works connection guards +ASV levers +Hammerhead shifter +Factory Connection Springs (195 # rider) +Racetech Gold valving +Supermoto wheelset +Motomaster Caliper +EBC oversized rotor
I have the dirt wheels with brand new tires and all the stock parts as well. Motor is all stock and I just adjusted valves (intakes were spot on already). well cared for and not riden much

best bet is put all easy stock stuff back on sell it (2.5 to 3g is prob right for a low hour bike) and put the sumo stuff on supermotojunkie or clist and the aftermarket mx parts on ebay or thumpertalk. You could make another 2g i would think pretty easy.
fork seals should be pretty easy with hand tools, I have a set of special fork tools if you end up needing them, otherwise it's a $70-80 job at a shop.

I'll just take the fork somewhere. What's a decent shop for a seal?

both Clairemont Cycle Supply and C&D Cycles have done seals for me recently and are good shops

Oh, nice. I like Clairemont Cycle Supply. They did some custom cables for me. I hear they are the only shop in san diego that brazes cables.

I've had em done at CCS(dirt) and FBC(street), for a shop it's pretty easy
